MESSAGE FROM MR. DONALD BOCHICCHIO,
SUPERINTENDENT

April 2008
Dear Parents & Community
Members,
Thank you for
your support for our school budget. We feel
that we provide an extremely well developed
curriculum and educational program, while
assisting the taxpayers.
During April,
May, and June there is a great deal of activity
happening in the schools. We will keep the
community appraised of what is happening on our
website and on our local television channel
(Channel 22). Please check both periodically to
see what is happening in our schools. Our
community is always welcome to our events.
During early
May, our Fifth and Sixth Grade students will be
taking our NJ ASK state assessments. They have
worked hard during the year and I have every
confidence that they will do well.
I will provide
you with a short renovations update. Our
classroom renovations are going well thanks to
the flexibility and cooperation of the
contractors and our staff. We are working
toward resolution of the infiltration basin in
front of the Frederic A. Priff School. County
work crews were here during the week of April 21
to help alleviate the concerns. Over the summer
the majority of the renovations work in the
Waretown Elementary School will be completed.
Our Frederic A. Priff School will have fewer
renovations to be completed.
Thank you for
your continued support for our schools.
Sincerely,
Donald J. Bochicchio
Ocean Township Superintendent of Schools
