Welcome to the Child Study Team Web Page
The Ocean Township School District offers programs for students who are
eligible for special education and related services for preschool
students age 3-5 and for grades kindergarten to six.
The Child Study
Team is made up with a psychologist, a learning disabilities teacher
consultant (LDTC), and a social worker. The team members administer
tests, meet with parents and staff, and case manage the special
education services. If parents are concerned about their school age
child’s progress they should feel free to discuss such issues with the
child’s teacher, or building principal. The child can be referred to
the buildings Intervention and Referral Services Committee (I&RS) or the
Child Study Team (CST).
If you know of a
child ages 3-5 who may need special education services please call the
office.
